This app helps you join several text or Word files together comfortably. TEXT & WORD Joiner includes many helpful functions to make the joining task even easier. For example, you can sort the files to be joined according to several criteria, or you can let the program analyze your files to find duplicate or nonexistent items. Besides, it can display information about any of your files easily.
Contrary to what many people may think, this program is not intended to join a mixture of text and Word files together - it was designed to join either several text files together or several Word files together. However, it can be also used to join CSV files, as these can be considered to be a type of text file. Thus, to start using the program, you need to specify whether you want to create a “text list” or a “word list”. Then you should continue by adding to the list files of the selected type only.
As an additional feature, this program allows you to save your file list, so that you can reopen it later and modify or execute the join operation. Besides, as stated before, the program allows you to change the joining order of the files on your list according to their file names, sizes, modification dates or file paths, and either in ascending or descending order. Finally, on the Preferences window, you can also set the program to strip a fixed number of lines at the beginning or the end of all the files in the list, and to insert a file repetitively in between all the listed files. more
